Jude Marr

Hi! I’m Jude, a Pushcart-nominated trans poet (he/him). After a varied career as a librarian, IT support person, server and barperson, homecare provider, etc. etc., I decided to make my childhood dream come true and be a writer. In for a penny, so I also moved to the US from the UK and went back to school. Now I have an MFA from Georgia College in Milledgeville, GA, a PhD from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and my first full length poetry collection, We Know Each Other By Our Wounds, came out in November 2020 from Animal Heart Press. My poems have appeared in multiple publications, both in print and online. I lived, studied, and worked in the US for 10 years. Now I live in Coimbra, Portugal. Still writing, still publishing, still available for editing work.
